During the period from 2018 to 2022 when I was Deputy Director of IT at the company RLH Properties, together with our ally Hostec, we carried out the integration of a system called Cross Charges, in which RLH Properties, owner of the Mayakoba complex, managed to Cross charges were made between 4 hotels of different hotel brands (Rosewood, Hyatt, Fairmont and Banyan Tree), connecting the point of sale of each hotel to a central system, this allowed guests to charge a room at any location in Mayakoba. Hostec supported us in the OPERA integration of each hotel, with the point of sale and the interaction of cross charges.

In the future,it is planned to expand the scope to another Resort called Mandarina, part of the same group, located in Nayarit, which will include the One&Only Mandarina hotel and a Beach club along with a Polo field.

This implementation managed to potentially increase sales in the outlets of all the hotels distributed around Mayakoba. Hostec currently supports the solution, being a critical element in the operation of each hotel within Mayakoba.

Also, another project that we started during my period at RLH Properties was the integration of Electronic Billing in OPERA for each of the hotels. The purpose of this integration was to be able to unify the taxes of each hotel in a central repository for RLH Properties and thus be able to have control of taxes up to date.
